TORONTO – Police have released surveillance images of people they would like to speak with who may have witnessed the beating death of a 40-year-old Toronto man on Labour Day weekend.
Jorge Interiano died in hospital after being severely beaten around 2:30 a.m. Saturday Aug. 30 at Bloor Street and Concord Avenue.
“Anyone who has not contacted police and may have seen something to come forward and speak to us,” said Toronto police Detective Shannon Dawson.
Police say they are looking for two suspects seen running from the scene but have yet to release a description.
“At this time, we’ve had great cooperation from the community, but we still feel there are more to come forward and until we get those independent observations and recollections, we don’t want to put out a description of those suspects.”
