WATCH: UBC’s biggest move-in weekend of the year

While elementary and high school students are facing an extended summer break, post-secondary students are heading back to school this week.

Thousands of them moved into dorm rooms at universities across the province over the weekend.

At the UBC campus in Kelowna, more than 1700 students will move into residence before classes get underway.

Another 4,000 will sign in at the school’s main campus in Vancouver.
