TORONTO – One person has died after a multi-vehicle accident on the QEW near Burloak Drive shortly after 5 p.m. Monday.
At least one person has been transported to hospital with serious injuries via an Ornge air ambulance.

Police say an infant was also involved in the accident but didn’t say if the child was injured.
Police closed the eastbound lanes of the QEW at Burloak Drive as investigators reconstruct the accident.
Traffic in the area could be extremely slow during the afternoon rush hour as a result of the closure.
