We’ll kick things off at 6:45 with a lesson on how to pack a healthy school lunch that will actually get eaten – even by picky eaters.  Blogger Heather Nolan shares her mommy wisdom.

With the full program launch announced on Wednesday, we now know the full lineup of films for the 34th Annual Atlantic Film Festival coming up in September. At 7:15, festival program director Jason Beaudry will join us once again to highlight some of the big films screening in Halifax and give us the lowdown on some new events for 2014.

There’s a big party planned this weekend and this bash promises to be full of rum, cigars and class. Bacardi Festival Libre, a touring celebration of rum, the culture that surrounds it and even the arts, will take over the Lower Deck on Saturday. At 7:45 we’ll get a preview of what you can expect at the Latin Heat event this weekend. (Hint: lots of rum)
