A Vancouver Little League team is headed to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where it will be making history.
Vancouver’s Little Mountain Eagles are the first Canadian team ever invited to the Little League Challenger Division.
They play Michigan on Saturday.
The Challenger Division is for boys and girls with physical and developmental issues.
Each player gets at least two hits at bat: the games run two innings and there’s no score.
The Little Mountain Eagles have been fundraising all year for this trip, but they’re still about $6,000 short.
