OTTAWA – Ottawa police are investigating after a decomposing body was found behind the Supreme Court of Canada.
Const. Marc Soucy said police don’t yet know the cause of death but the homicide unit has been advised of the file.

He said the autopsy is expected to be completed sometime Wednesday. Police haven’t identified the body.
“We think it’s been there a while. The decomposition is pretty advanced,” Soucy said.
The RCMP informed Ottawa police about the body around 12:55 pm Tuesday after finding it.
