VANCOUVER – Three men are facing arson charges after a fire at a remote cabin in the Lower Mainland earlier this month.
A surveillance camera mounted on a tree captured the three suspects on July 7 during the fire.
The hunting cabin at the south end of Pitt Lake at Widgeon Creek was destroyed by flames. It had been used as a summer home for three families since 1955.
Just an hour after the photos aired on TV, the three men turned themselves in.
Twenty-one-year-old Michael Edward McNeil, Chris Conway Sine and Jamie Ryan Plante are each charged with one count of arson damaging property.
They have been released on $500 bail.
