WINNIPEG – Natural gas rates are going down for Centra customers who aren’t on fixed-term fixed-price contracts.
Centra Gas Manitoba will decrease its gas rates from 15.67 cents per cubic metre to 15.51 cents per cubic metre on Aug. 1 after getting approval from the Public Utilities Board.
Residential customers will see their gas bills decrease about 0.8 per cent, or approximately $7 per year, the board said in a notice about its decision.
Gas rates will be reviewed again on Nov. 1.
The decision by the board can be viewed on its website or obtained through the board’s office.
