KELOWNA – The young Kelowna man who died after apparently jumping from a moving vehicle Saturday morning has been identified.
The BC Coroners Service has identified the 23 year old victim as Victor Francis Doyle.
It was around 8:30 a.m. when RCMP responded to a report of a traffic incident on Glenmore Road near Union Road.
When police arrived they found the young man laying on the road.
Doyle suffered very serious injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition.
He later succumbed to his injuries.
Police say Doyle was a passenger in the vehicle.
Despite the 33-year-old driver being found to be unlicensed, police say he remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation.
The Kelowna RCMP continue to investigate.
