We had a warm and sunny day for the BC Southern Interior with the exception of isolated showers and thundershowers in parts of the Arrow Lakes and Columbia regions this afternoon.
Expect warm weather conditions again Friday with a mix of sun and cloud. A westerly flow will bring increasing cloud in the late afternoon and evening hours.
The westerly flow aloft persists over the weekend keeping partly cloudy conditions in the forecast. Some moisture will make its way over the coastal mountains this weekend with a slight chance of showers for the Okanagan, Shuswap, and Boundary regions.
Arrow Lakes and Columbia regions will have a higher chance of showers – 60% chance of showers Saturday for the Columbia region, and 60% chance of showers Sunday for the Arrow Lakes.
