Enbridge’s Northern Gateway pipeline got the green light from the federal Conservatives Tuesday, bringing the $6.5-billion pipeline one step closer to realization (or at least one step closer to a protracted omnibus court battle against just about every First Nation and environmental group in British Columbia).
The B.C. government has been open in its opposition – or at least deep skepticism – about the pipeline project. We decided to take a look at Enbridge’s attempts to financially woo political parties over the years.
