A fatal collision in Abbotsford claimed the life of a senior citizen this morning.
The two vehicle collision happened near the intersection of Marion and Campbell Roads when a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina and a grey 2013 Mazda 3 collided. The crash caused the Lumina to spin off the roadway and into a water-filled ditch.

Abbotsford police, fire rescue and BC Ambulance were called to the scene to help the injured people in both vehicles.
An elderly person, who was one of the passengers in the Mazda 3, was pronounced dead at the scene.
