People registered for swimming programs at the pool in spring 2014 and summer 2014 will be contacted by city staff, the release said. Pass holders who have suspended their passes will also be contacted.

Meanwhile, Kildonan Park’s outdoor pool won’t open on June 16, which was the scheduled opening date.

The opening has been delayed by mechanical repairs. Rental groups affected by the delay have been contacted by city staff.

The Kildonan Park pool was the only outdoor poll scheduled to open June 16; all other city-run outdoor pools are slated to open on June 27.

For more information and updates, visit the Elmwood Kildonans Pool and Kildonan Park pool web pages on the city website.

Schedules and locations of the city’s other outdoor pools can be found on the city website.

The city’s splash pads are open for the season; most wading pools open on July 2. Schedules for both can be found on the city website.
