Semi clips, flips car after improper lane change

SASKATOON – A Saskatchewan man has been charged by Saskatoon police after a two-vehicle collision on Circle Drive Friday evening.

Just after 9 p.m., police were called to a crash near the 14th Street exit ramp.

Investigators say a southbound semi made a lane change and clipped a car travelling alongside it.

The collision caused the driver of the car to lose control and the vehicle wound up flipped upside down in the centre median.

The 20-year-old Saskatoon woman was taken to hospital. Her injuries are believed to be minor.

Police have charged a 65-year-old man of Domremy, Sask., with making an improper lane change.
