Police say charges are possible after an unusual early morning collision on Highway One in Surrey.
An over-height semi tried and failed to make it under the 192nd street overpass around 2 o’clock this morning.
The force of the impact sheared off the entire roof of the trailer, leaving metal shrapnel all over the road.
There were no injuries reported because of the incident, but police had to divert traffic around the mess.
The driver stopped about half a kilometer away and called police.
He may face charges under the commercial vehicle act.
