KELOWNA — Raising a child is expensive. Now imagine doing it all on your own, and not knowing if you will have a roof over your head.

Amanda Jones, UBC Okanagan Master’s student, wants to find out why single mothers in the Okanagan have more struggles finding subsidized housing than any other areas in the province.
Since this research has never been done in Kelowna before, she hopes the data will be the stepping stone in creating change.
