TORONTO – Heavy rains battered the east coast on Wednesday, causing one Baltimore street to collapse, swallowing several cars.
Severe weather has battered the U.S. over the past week, with tornadoes killing at least 35 people across several southern states.
On Wednesday, severe weather struck the southeast and moved north toward New York and New England. Heavy flooding was reported in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and parts of New England.
Several people in Baltimore watched as part of a street sank leaving cars at an angle. A few minutes later, people scream as the entire side of the street — including what appears to be railway tracks — disappear into an abyss.
