REGINA – A Saskatoon-area man who collects sports paraphernalia has just the ticket for some Saskatchewan Roughrider fan out there.
Brent Goodwin is selling what he believes to be the only authentic, mint-condition, unused ticket to the 1966 Grey Cup game in existence.
On November 26th of that year, George Reed would lead the Saskatchewan Roughriders to a 26-14 victory over the Ottawa Rough Riders at Vancouver’s Empire Stadium.
It was the first Grey Cup victory for the Riders. Goodwin paid around 300 dollars for the rare item and so far he’s received offers upwards of one thousand dollars on Kijiji.
