Child, Youth, and Family Enhancement Amendment Act
The Alberta government has tabled the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Amendment Act. It’s a new law that would see sweeping changes to the current system dealing with children in care. Minister of Human Services Manmeet Bhullar explains the changes.
Alberta Weather Warnings
With forecasts predicting up 70 millimetres of rain in some parts of Alberta on Wednesday, the province quickly issued a “yellow alert,” signalling possible flooding of some low lying areas near rivers and streams.
