CALGARY – Police have launched an investigation, after a man was found unconscious in a southwest park and later died of his injuries.

A jogger in the 5900 block of Crowchild Trail came across the man on a pathway, around 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening. The man in his 40s was unconscious, and rushed to hospital in critical condition.
He died a short time later.
