LETHBRIDGE-People here in Lethbridge are celebrating earth day along with others from across the country.
The Lethbridge community network has organized an electronic recycling drive where residents can go to various locations around the city and drop off their old and unwanted electronics.
The goal is to give residents a chance to dispose of their unwanted devices in a safe and convenient way.
The organization is accepting the following types of electronics;
– Computers
– Monitors
– Gaming Consoles
– Cables
– Printers
– Cell Phones
– Televisions
Batteries or any non-electronic devices are not being accepted.
Proceeds from the earth friendly program will be used to fund public computer access sites and provide internet throughout the community.
There are eleven locations participating in the drive and they have aluminum bins open for the public to donate their items.
