Missing man found dead inside southeast home

Calgary Police Service

CALGARY – Police are looking for help as they investigate the death of a man in the city’s southeast earlier this week.

Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Heritage Drive S.E. on Monday to check on the welfare of a man who hadn’t been heard from for several days.

When they arrived, police found 44-year-old John Thomas Pollock dead.

Initially, investigators didn’t believe his death to be suspicious. However, after an autopsy was completed officers ruled the death to be ‘undetermined.’

Officials aren’t releasing the cause of death at this time.

Police are trying to determine more information about Pollock’s movements in the days before he died.

He was last seen by neighbours at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday, April 4th.
