EDMONTON – Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in northern Alberta early Sunday morning.
The collision happened on Highway 69, just south of the Fort McMurray airport around 4:40 a.m.

RCMP and EMS remained on scene early Sunday afternoon.
The man’s identity has not been released.
