OKANAGAN — It’s a proud day for members of Global Okanagan.
The station has been awarded best provincial newscast in a medium market at this year’s Radio-Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) awards.
We were chosen by our peers as having the best television newscast outside of Vancouver.

“This was a real team effort,” said Global Okanagan news director, Derek Hinchliffe.
“We continue to attract a large audience every night, which of course is the most important sign that we are doing the right things right. But it’s nice to also get that recognition from our peers.”
Global Okanagan will now compete on the national stage, for best medium market newscast in the country.
