Let the spring cleaning begin! We’re doing a full week of cleaning out the cobwebs and chasing down the dust bunnies. On Monday, we’ll start at 6:45 with streamlining your stuff with professional organizer Jane Veldhover of Get Organized!
There will be a new set of advertisements in and on Metro Transit Buses on Monday. South House and the Halifax Sexual Health Centre used crowd funding to develop a pro-choice ad in response to pro-life ads that had been popping up on buses. They’ll tell us about the campaign at 7:15.
It’s #BurgerWeek in Halifax, and at 7:45 we’ll meet two lucky women. Nikki and Lindsay are the 2014 Burger Ambassadors. They have been eating burgers all week, and will tell us all about their faves.
March is on it’s way out, and JazzEast has a festival to celebrate. The Out Like a Lion Festival in Halifax includes great music, bowling and a masquerade party! JazzEast Artistic Director Laura ‘Lulu’ Healy will tell us all about it at 8:15.
The city of Halifax has a rich history, and a new play at OneLight Theatre is bringing some of that history to life. never a syllable tells the story of Canada at war, and the challenges facing British troops in our city. At 8:45, we’ll meet the play’s creators, Paul Robinson and Pamela Halstead.
