WINNIPEG – Police have released a sketch of the person who grabbed a child near Earl Grey School on Wednesday morning.
An 11-year-old girl told police the man grabbed her arm and tried to pull her down Arbuthnot near Warsaw Avenue while she was walking to school before 9 a.m.
The man didn’t say anything and the girl broke free and ran home, where police were called.
The man was white, 50 to 60 years old and short, with a mole on his face, the girl told police. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a maroon toque with a pompom and a scarf over his mouth.
