Attempted murder charge following Salmon Arm stabbing

SALMON ARM — Charges have now been laid following a stabbing at a Salmon Arm self storage business 10 days ago.

Jeremy Daniel Webster, 31, of Salmon Arm is charged with attempted murder.

The incident happened march 7 at the Super Self Storage facility on 40th ave. South-east.

Police have not said what lead Webster to stab his co-worker.

The victim, a 34 year old man from Vernon, was airlifted in critical condition to hospital but he’s expected to survive.

Webster is being held in custody until his next court appearance.

RCMP believe mental health issues may have played a factor in the stabbing.

Neither men worked for the self storage facility.
