A man convicted of hiding a camera in a washroom at a Taber, Alberta convenience store was sentenced in court Tuesday.
55-year-old Frederik Dekker was arrested in April last year at his home in Burdett.
Investigators found a camera in the washroom of a Taber 7-11 store along with numerous photos and videos on a storage card. Police say the images come from multiple locations including a private bathroom. Officers say roughly 50 different people were captured on camera.
Dekker was arrested after police released images of the suspect in hopes of receiving tips from the public. He plead guilty to one charge of voyeurism in January.
He has been sentenced to four months of house arrest, five months with a curfew, and two years probation.
