Two people have died in a fire that tore through a Ladysmith home early Saturday morning.
The BC Coroners Service has been called in to investigate the blaze that broke out at around 3:30 a.m. at a home on Pictou Road.

Firefighters said the flames were too strong for them to enter the home and rescue the two people inside.
The age and identities of the victims have not been released.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious and foul play is not suspected.
