UPDATE: Mosesee Nowdluk, who was wanted Canada-wide for being unlawfully at large, is now in Vancouver police custody after turning himself in last night.

Vancouver police are asking for the public’s assistance to find a man wanted Canada-wide for being unlawfully at large.
According to police, Mosesee Nowdluk is a six-time federal offender with an extensive criminal history.
He was released from custody Thursday on a long-term supervision order after serving more than 10 years for assault, break and enter, assault with a weapon and arson with disregard for human life.
Police say Nowdluk failed to return to his halfway house and is now unlawfully at large.
He is described as Aboriginal, 5’6″ tall, 176 pounds and was wearing a black jacket, brown t-shirt, blue jeans and black runners with red laces.
Nowdluk has several tattoos, including a teardrop on his cheek, two roses on his right forearm, a bird on his left forearm and a star on his chest.
The public is being warned not to approach Nowdluk and to call 911 with any information on his whereabouts.
