The suspect then punched the driver in the head, stole his glasses and fled into the station at the Surrey Bus Loop.

The driver followed him to retrieve his glasses, and the suspect punched him in the face. Drennan said the driver then retreated to the bus, where the suspect followed him and punched him again.

Drennan said the driver has minor injuries, considering the seriousness of the assault. He has cuts, lacerations and bruises on his face and scalp.

Nathan Woods, president of the union, said they were asked by Transit Police to issue a reward after police did not locate the suspect Monday night.
