CALGARY- The southwest community of Elbow Park, which is still recovering from the June flood, is now being hit by crooks.
Several break and enters have been reported in the inner-city neighbourhood this month, prompting a warning to residents from police.
Investigations are underway into four cases, which happened on Mondays between 9 a.m. and noon, or on Fridays and Saturdays between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Officers are asking people to ensure their doors and windows are locked, and to make sure their homes or secure whether or not someone is home. Suspicious activity in the area should be reported.
Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
