HALIFAX – Two women have been found dead in a house in Bible Hill, N.S., according to Nova Scotia RCMP.
Cpl. Scott McRae confirmed police are on scene at 492 Pictou Road.
Police received a call from the residence around 3 p.m. on Friday.
McRae said that officers found one deceased woman when they arrived.
A man was taken into custody.
McRae said that the man has serious wounds but it is yet to be determined whether they are self-inflicted or not.
He adds that further investigation of the scene revealed a second deceased woman.
The relationship between the victims and the suspect is not yet known. No other details have been released.
The Major Crimes Unit and the forensic identification team are assisting in the investigation.
