WINNIPEG — Residents of west Winnipeg will soon have access to a new 62,830-square-foot health centre.
The Access Winnipeg clinic is one of 22 being built across Manitoba.
The facility is still under construction but provincial Health Minister Erin Selby was given a preview tour Tuesday morning.
“There will be one-stop shopping for health and social concerns in Winnipeg west,” said Selby. “Right next to Grace Hospital, it will reduce the demands on its ER.”
The clinic will include everything from occupational therapy to mental health counsellors.
It’s slated to open in spring.
