Join Festival Place and author/military historian Ted Barris in a presentation recognizing the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. The Battle of Vimy Ridge is Canada’s most celebrated military victory and is often cited as a seminal moment in the discovery of Canada’s Nationhood. In addition to Mr. Barris’ presentation, Festival Place will host a major display of World War 1 materials including small arms, flags, uniforms and printed materials from the private collection of Allen Kerr.
