The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and 17 state attorneys general in the U.S. have filed an antitrust lawsuit against Amazon on Tuesday. They allege the e-commerce behemoth uses its position in the marketplace to inflate prices on and off Amazon, overcharge sellers and stifle competition, while Amazon says the FTC is “wrong on the facts and the law.”
