HPV self-testing could help people without a primary care physician: doctor

Dr. Nav Persaud, a staff physician and scientist at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, told Global News that HPV self-testing could be a benefit to people without a primary care provider or are “poorly connected” with one. He also said with self-testing possibly more accurate than Pap smear testing, it could eliminate more barriers for women who are seeking cervical cancer screening.
