Cliff Chapman, director of wildfire operations for the BC Wildfire Service, warned every British Columbian Thursday Aug. 17, 2023 the next 24 to 48 hours could be the most challenging for residents and crews of the fire season. He said now is not the time to ignore any evacuation alerts or orders.
