Environmental fair taking over downtown Lindsay this weekend

An Environmental Fair in Lindsay is set for Saturday, Aug. 12, featuring the Kawartha Electric Vehicle Society. The goal is to help point residents in the direction of fewer greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable household practices and expanded green space awareness.
It looks into bees and food security, reclaiming lost bird populations, responsible waste management.
The stars of the fair are also among the biggest opportunities for individuals to clamp down their carbon footprint: electric vehicles.
