Alberta data reveals deadliest month for toxic drug fatalities in 7 years

A much-delayed drug poisoning deaths update in Alberta is revealing sombre new statistics. Alberta recorded its deadliest month since the province began tracking fatalities in 2016, after 179 people died in April 2023. Morgan Black has more on what’s causing the spike.
