Canada wildfires: Duclos, Tam provide health tips for smoke inhalation

Federal Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos, alongside Canada’s top doctor Theresa Tam, spoke on Monday to address health concerns related to wildfire smoke. If possible, they advised to keep windows and doors closed to prevent smoke from entering your home — even if it is very hot. If you don’t have air conditioning and are finding it to feel too hot with closed openings, seek a local clean air area, they said.
