Testifying before the Procedure and House Affairs Committee (PROC) on Thursday, regarding the issue of foreign interference in Canada, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino was asked to “do the honourable thing” and resign “right here, right now” by MP Blaire Calkin. Calkin’s request came in response to Mendicino’s alleged lack of awareness surrounding threats of fellow MP Michael Chong and his family, as well as the transfer of serial rapist of killer Paul Bernardo to a medium-security prison.
