The major Muslim holiday of Eid was supposed to provide a reprieve for conflict-ridden Sudan. A ceasefire had been agreed upon between two warring generals vying for control of the military, but as Mike Drolet reports, Khartoum was instead clouded in dark smoke, with prayers interrupted by the sound of machine gun fire.
