Winnipeg mayor reacts to derailment on McPhillips Street overpass: ‘Railway relocation an active conversation’

Winnipeg mayor Scott Gillingham responded to questions of relocating the city’s active rail lines to areas outside Winnipeg on Friday. Gillingham said there is funding available to pursue those options, but recognized that it’s a huge undertaking and would take wisdom and planning.
