Ontario Premier Doug Ford said on Tuesday that while Ontario Place is in Toronto, the tourism spot is for all of the province and no matter who is elected as the new mayor of the city, the plan will go ahead to redevelop the space. He added the location is “prime real estate” and there is a need for more venues like the Science Centre.
