How you’ll be impacted if Canada’s public servants strike
Description
April 15, 2023
The union representing roughly half the staff of the Canadian Public Service is ready to strike. Talks are taking place weekend between Ottawa and the bargaining units representing workers essential to the basic functioning of the federal government. The union represents everyone from clerks and maintenance workers to Coast Guard search and rescue teams to the people who process passport applications. Job action could even impact the timing of your tax return. Mackenzie Gray reports.
