Saskatoon Police Service deputy chief Cam McBride announced the results of the Saskatchewan Association of Police Chiefs Firearm Amnesty Program on Wednesday, with 268 firearms surrendered. McBride said residents of Saskatchewan who surrendered their unwanted, or unused firearms during the amnesty program were doing their part in preventing guns from being used to commit crimes.
