Prime Minister Justin Trudeau answered questions Wednesday concerning China’s military exercises in the Taiwan straight earlier this week. Trudeau said he hopes to see a de-escalation of tensions in the region and “Canada will continue to fight for democracy because that’s what Canadians expect us to do.”
