Easter Sunday marks day 5 of Hastings decampment
Description
April 9, 2023
Vancouver city crews and the VPD returned to East Hastings on Easter Sunday for day five of efforts to bring the sidewalk encampment to a close. While officials say the action was initiated amid increasing public safety and fire risks, the decampment of CRAB Park - where people have been living in tents for almost two years - may be much more difficult. Kristen Robinson reports.
