Alberta surgeons repairing knees with transplanted tissue

Health Matters March 30: An Edmonton surgeon is among a few in Alberta offering new hope for patients who are too young for a knee replacement. His team is repairing knees with bone and cartilage from deceased donors, in what is known as an osteochondral allograft transplant.
